What to Make of Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal
TabTrade - The Short VersionTab Trade went live in March 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker. The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But better than a random name you cannot trace. The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker. The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that range is solid. What You Trade OnYou get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.cTrader is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after comparing.FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That should round things out once it is live.Accounts and PricingThree tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.Execution SpeedThis is where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.Does it matter? If you scalp, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says something about priorities.Combine that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Not many platforms in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.RegulationNow, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there. That said. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your decision. The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities. The BonusTabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you deposit. The complete breakdown, covering regulation, withdrawals, pricing, website and the click here bonus terms, is at Trade The Day.
