TabTrade Broker Review - What to Know Before You Sign Up

The Broker — The Short Version

Tab Trade went live in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

That last detail is relevant. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But preferable to a random name you cannot trace.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.

What You Trade On

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.

FIX API is available for automated strategies but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should make the platform set once it is live.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for beginners.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The execution is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

This is the part that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But inform your assessment.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.

The Bonus

TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
